01 · What this document covers

This privacy policy describes how HueAtlas — the iPhone application — handles information. It is written in the same plain voice as the app itself: short, exact, and free of legal padding wherever possible.

HueAtlas is built and operated by an independent studio. There is no parent company, no marketing department, and no advertising partner.

02 · What we collect — nothing

Summary

HueAtlas does not collect personal data. There is no account, no profile, no telemetry, no advertising identifier.

We do not collect names, emails, device identifiers, IP addresses, locations, contacts, or photo metadata. We do not track which features you use, how long you spend in the app, or which photographs you read.

HueAtlas does not include any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or third-party tracking domain.

03 · What happens on your device

When you read a photograph in HueAtlas, the entire process happens on your iPhone:

  • Pigment extraction runs on-device.
  • Mood and weather labels come from a local, fixed vocabulary.
  • Each reading is stored locally inside the app.

Your photographs are not transmitted, copied to a server, or shared with any third party. They are never used to train any model.

04 · Sharing and exports

You can choose to export readings as PNG cards, PDF records, or JSON files. When you do, those files are placed in iOS share sheets, the Photos app, or Files — at your initiative, on your device.

HueAtlas itself does not upload exports anywhere. Anything that leaves your device leaves because you sent it.

05 · Purchases and payments

HueAtlas is a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payments are handled by Apple under their own terms and privacy policy. We do not see your card details, your Apple ID, or your billing address. We receive only an aggregate count of purchases.

06 · Children

HueAtlas is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. As HueAtlas does not collect any personal data, it does not knowingly process information from children.

07 · Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change is material, note it inside the app. The current edition is the only authoritative version.
